Spanish Foreign Minister Arancha González Laya dismissed plans for the UK's navy to protect fishing waters in the event of a no-deal Brexit, saying she thinks "this is all for the gallery".

She said she does not understand why the UK cannot come to an agreement on fishing with the EU given that there are "only 12,000 workers" affected in the UK.
